Stellenbosch is located in the western cape province of South Africa, only 31 miles east of Cape Town. It is a charming Dutch-influenced university town. Situated on glorious flower farmland, the splendid modern farmhouse delights every guest that stays. A home away from home that comfortably sleeps 9 guests.

Beach Cottage - Navidad, Chile
Chile is a beautiful overseas destination for an intimate elopement Airbnb. Situated on the southern edge of South America’s western coastline, Navidad is beachfront and breath-taking. This Airbnb home takes an effort to get to, as the short drive leading to the property is not a well-used road. The three flights of steps leading down the coastal cliff to the Airbnb also takes some determined effort to arrive. But boy oh boy when you do arrive paradise awaits! Everything of true value takes effort and the reward is great!
There is beauty in every direction. The view is unbeatable, you are literally sitting above the ocean with full privacy. MarAlto, La Tagua is built on stilts high above the beach and securely nestled into the coastline. An architectural and engineering masterpiece with everything to ensure you are comfortable. Designed and built to relax in secluded style, there is plenty of lounging inside and on the terrace. Scandinavian vibe of light pine and modern minimalist furnishings emphasizing light and a neutral/heavy palette.
Restaurants in Matanzas and Lagunillas are a short drive away, but I can guarantee once you are there you will not want to leave. Although the eloping couple would need to be adventurous and in love with unique coastal destinations, I am telling you this place is EPIC!! A once in a lifetime experience, as you look out the massive windows it will feel like you are floating on the water. As a traveling photographer I thrive on capturing bridal couples in their element and would love to help you to plan an overseas destination elopement.
Tranquil Forest Haven - Rio, Brazil
Elopement couples that seek a full nature experience in a unique and amazing overseas Airbnb - this one is for you. I have found one for you in the stunning destination of Rio, Brazil. Surrounded by tropical Brazilian landscape, the Arca house is secluded in the privacy of the Atlantic Forest, which borders the magnificent Bocaina National Park. Imagine your elopement taking place in a magical sanctuary with your own private waterfall. The birdlife and butterflies add to the natural forest ambiance, you may even see a monkey or two.
The owners have not only chosen the most stunning location in Paraty but also, built with sustainability in mind, ensuring the ecosystem is respected. Paraty is a small historic Portuguese-style town, with cobblestone streets and plenty of whitewashed beautiful, ornate buildings. Everything that surrounds is lush and green, it is a very picturesque destination, and I would highly recommend the elopement reception in any of its local venues. On Airbnb, they suggest a local restaurant called Barao which is simple, authentic, delicious, and only 100m from the property. Oh, I forgot to mention the breathtaking backdrop of Brazil’s Costa Verde mountains, there is so much to love about this destination.
Arca House is filled with locally sourced wood, and you feel part of the surrounding tropical jungle. Underneath the dome-shaped exterior is a spacious floorplan with all modern finishes that are unique and full of Brazilian character. Plenty of natural light flows through the open floorplan with glass walls framing either side. Eloping in a destination like this will be once in a lifetime unique chapter to your love story.
