How we met

Katie and I met on Instagram I don’t even know how long ago. We finally got to meet & hang out for a weekend and man it felt like we had known each other forever. Automatic BFF’s. I’m so thankful for Instagram & the friendships it’s brought into my life, including this one! And also, Ben is the male version of me so I love him too.

I found out I relate to Ben more and Katie actually relates to my husband more. Me and Ben don’t love physical touch, she and my husband do haha. I always love finding out how I relate to different couples in different ways and who I align with more, based on our love languages and personalities. Truly, meeting all kinds of different people is one of my favorite parts of this job.

The carefree beach session

We started their session in the trees, enjoying Cali’s luscious greenery and the sun shinin’ through the leaves for us. I learned that Ben is goofy, weird, and all the things that complement the poetic, sassy, and loving sides of Katie.

And we ended the night on the beach telling Ben “of course we won’t get in the water” - then definitely got our legs soaked. Whoops.

Their cutie outfits

I couldn’t finish off this post without mentioning Katie and Ben’s cute cute outfits. Katie wore the cutest black overalls paired with a plain white tee to start off, and Ben coordinated perfectly with a light-colored flannel over a black tee. They kept it casual + comfy and I loved the vibe they were goin’ for!

Once we got to the beach, we kept that casual mood going, with Katie’s super stylish black turtleneck + light wash jeans. Ben changed into a white button-up + black pants and of course, they both had to go barefoot!

Love these two and love the beach so much, even though I’m terrified of the ocean hehe.
